Position: Food Production/Service Assistant
About: Reporting to the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and Chef de Cuisine, the Food Production/Service Assistant will prepare and serve hot and cold menu items for stations and catering in a timely manner. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in work areas and fostering positive customer relations.
Requirements: High School Diploma and a combination of culinary knowledge and significant volume cooking experience; Minimum of 1 year in high volume cooking and catering operation; Familiarity with special diets and allergens; Read, write, and speak English fluently; ServeSafe Certification (or equivalent food safety certification) required; Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and tolerate physical demands of the job; Effective communication and organizational skills; Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and customer base; Motivated, solution-oriented, and dedicated to the mission of the College.
