Position: Food Preparer
About: HMSHost is currently seeking a Food Preparer for an airport location at Atlanta Airport. The Food Preparer is responsible for preparing various food products, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed, arranging necessary supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, operating kitchen utensils and equipment for food product cooking, serving, and storing, receiving and inventorying food and beverage products, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position that typically reports to the Cook.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs; ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions; ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers. Experience in food preparation is preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling procedures is essential.
