Position: Food and Beverage Operations Manager| Mayo Civic Center

About: The Food and Beverage Operations Manager position at AEG entails assisting the General Manager, Hospitality, in overseeing the efficient and profitable food and beverage operations of the venue. The role involves actively supervising, coaching, and mentoring employees to ensure company quality standards are met, managing employee relations, and maintaining a positive work environment. This position plays a crucial role in the business’s success, requiring open availability, strong interpersonal skills, and effective decision-making abilities.

Requirements: BA or BS with a business-related or hospitality management major (strongly preferred); minimum 3-5 years management experience in the food & beverage industry; minimum 3-5 years’ experience in high-volume banquets, concessions, catering, or premium/suite catering; previous professional experience in catering sales (preferred); ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders; solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and POS systems; familiarity with inventory control and menu planning; strong knowledge of sanitation, food preparation guidelines, and safety standards; proficiency in math functions and cash handling; high standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
