Position: Floor Finisher – University
About: Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining of the College buildings and for identifying and reporting necessary repairs of equipment and buildings. Responsible for the scheduled preventative floor maintenance and care of hard and soft surface floors which includes: buffing, stripping, refinishing, carpet extraction, and washing of walls to preserve floor quality and project a clean, professional image. Responsible for event set-ups and other duties as assigned. Responsible for daily cleaning of the facility 8 hours a day, 5 days a week under the general supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services. Incumbents are subject to hours beyond the normal workday.
