Position: Fleet Service/Janitor (Day Shift) $18 PH – AK Airlines (Flight Benefits Available)
About: The Fleet Servicing/Janitor position provides a variety of cleaning services and other related duties required to keep office facilities or similar areas in a clean and orderly condition. Full-time, Part-time and Seasonal positions may be available. Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping office facilities and/or customer areas on aircrafts in accordance with specific cleaning protocols dictated by the airline, cleaning and flushing airplane galleys and/or lavatories, emptying and filling potable water on all flights, dusting both low and high areas, wiping down or cleaning various surfaces, removing and properly disposing of discarded materials, transporting trash to the appropriate disposal areas, and more.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some combination of education or experience that evidences a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes; ability to pass a background check and physical evaluation; ability to follow established procedures, demonstrate accuracy, and thoroughness in day-to-day activities; fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English; safety-conscious and able to observe safety and security procedures; consistently punctual and able to work effectively with minimum supervision or support.
