Position: Fleet Manager 25-033
About: Fleet Manager position available in Safety & Support Services department at CWS, offering a salary range of $79,705.60 – $127,524.80 per year. The role involves managing and directing Fleet resources, ensuring efficient vehicle and equipment services, and providing leadership to personnel in Fleet management. Essential functions include strategic responsibility for Fleet vehicles, developing maintenance policies and procedures, coordinating maintenance services, and managing the fuel supply system, among others. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of Fleet operations, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with OSHA regulations, and experience in budget preparation and control. Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Requirements: Associate’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Fleet operations, of which three (3) years must be in a supervisory capacity; or a total of eight (8) years of relevant education and experience in Fleet operations, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role. Must have extensive knowledge of maintenance principles and tools, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with OSHA regulations, proficiency in managing work order systems, and a valid South Carolina Driver’s License. Additional requirements include excellent planning and organizational skills, supervisory excellence, proficiency in MS Office suite, safe handling practices for hazardous materials, and leadership and management competencies to drive a strong safety culture.
