Position: Fish Market Cashier – Billingsgate Fish Market

Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age; 1-2 years of experience in the food industry, particularly in fish cutting or meat cutting; At least 1 year of customer service experience; Familiarity with various types of fish, meats, and their specific handling requirements; Excellent customer service skills with ability to work effectively under pressure; Exceptional communication skills with ability to speak English clearly and coherently; Committed, trustworthy, and with a strong work ethic; Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques; Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail; A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in food production; Ability to frequently stand and walk for an eight-hour shift; Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; Basic math skills are essential; Able to work independently as well as in a team; Authorized to work in the United States.
