About: Fortune Fish & Gourmet, a highly successful seafood processor and specialty food distributor based in Chicago, is seeking a Fish Filleter to join their team. The company is known for its high-quality products and outstanding service, serving a diverse clientele within the seafood industry.
Requirements: 2-3 years of cutting/filleter experience required; Education – High School Diploma or equivalent; Experience – 2-3 years of experience use of fillet knives, food processing equipment, and food safety in a fast-paced environment. Seafood experience preferred; Work ethic – A demonstrated sense of urgency in meeting critical and time-sensitive deadlines; Language – Basic English speaking and written proficiency; Environmental – Willingness to work in a cold climate of 35°F
