Position: F&B Manager – Food Bazaar

About: The Food and Beverage Manager at Wind Creek Chicago Southland is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service and quality products. The manager oversees front-of-house operations, staff management, and profitability to deliver unmatched guest service. Wind Creek Hospitality is a fast-growing casino resort brand with properties across the United States and the Caribbean, including Wind Creek Chicago Southland opening in Fall 2024.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field AND two (2) years of Supervisory experience in a high volume, multiple shifts, F&B outlet required; OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Management position in a high volume, multiple shifts, F&B outlet required; OR Three (3) years’ experience in an F&B Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality required; Problem-solving and decision-making ability; Extensive knowledge of food products and service techniques; After hire, successful completion of Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service and BASSET training required to retain position; After hire, successful completion of ServeSafe Sanitation training required to retain position; Ability to maneuver in all areas of assigned outlets, including all food and beverage service areas; Ability to lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds; Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts; Proven ability to develop a budget; Proven ability to understand financial data and manage a budget; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work with computer-based time and attendance, and/or client-booking systems; Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required; Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
