Position: Fairway – Host (Village NYC) Salary Range $16.00 – $18.00/hr
About: Fairway Market is currently seeking a Host to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating memorable interactions for guests dining at the restaurant.
Requirements: Proficiency in all register applications; Ability to learn and understand new programs and applications as job functionality evolves; Extensive/extended standing and walking; Must be able to lift 25-pound objects; Must be able to work in refrigerated coolers and high moisture content preparation rooms for extended periods of time; Must be able to work in high-temperature kitchen preparation areas; Ability to work with all fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices, and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences; Must be able to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical fumes from common household cleaning agents such as ammonia during routine housekeeping duties.
