Position: Fairfield Inn & Suites Cheyenne – Laundry Attendant
About: The hotel’s Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the establishment. The role involves all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. Additionally, the Laundry Attendant is in charge of cleaning laundry machinery and the laundry area to ensure a smooth operation of linen services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred; ability to convey information and ideas clearly; must perform well in stressful, high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure; ability to handle heavy laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs; occasional handling of linens with potential weight between 25-150lbs
