Position: Facility Manager
About: The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all equipment, facilities, and systems within our cannabis cultivation, production, and retail operations. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and operational efficiency while managing a team of maintenance technicians. This role also involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with a strong emphasis on boiler systems, welding, and mechanical operations.
Requirements: 5+ years of maintenance management experience, preferably in a regulated industry (cannabis, food production, pharma, etc.); Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; Capable of managing a team of 4-5; Boilermaker Certification is a plus, or candidate must be willing to obtain training and certification; Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics; Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance issues; Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices; Must be able to pass state and federal background checks per cannabis industry requirements; Familiarity with boilermaker duties, such as assembling, installing, and repairing boilers, tanks, and other large vessels; Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics related to boilers and mechanical systems; Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining pumps, motors, and HVAC systems; Problem-solving skills and a commitment to preventative maintenance to minimize downtime; Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively
