Position: Facility Integrity Project Manager
About: Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. The company is engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for customers. Western Midstream’s core assets provide services in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado, with additional assets and investments located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.
Requirements: High school diploma or higher required; 10+ years of detail-oriented experience in mechanical integrity of oil and gas facilities; strong expertise in pressure vessel, piping, and storage tank inspection and repair techniques; strong understanding and application of project management process; strong understanding of metallurgy, failure mechanisms, and corrosion issues in the oil & gas industry; knowledge of applicable industry codes such as API-510/570/653 inspection codes, API-580 and API-581 risk-based inspection, API-571 corrosion damage mechanisms, API-579 fitness-for-service, ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8 piping and pipeline codes, ASME Sec VIII vessel design codes; knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations; experience in managing mechanical integrity data in industry tools such as MISTRAS Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS); ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people; strong initiative and self-management skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills; proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, etc.); asset integrity and project management experience required.
