Position: Facilities Specialist Supervisor
About: The University of Evansville, located in Evansville, IN, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Specialist Supervisor to oversee facility maintenance, event setups, and contractor management across campus. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of campus events, facility upkeep, and vendor contracts, supporting the University’s commitment to excellence in campus operations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of work order planning, scheduling systems, and contract administration; familiarity with federal, state, and local safety codes, including ADA requirements; strong supervisory, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage budgets; excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders; ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and facility projects; physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and drive as part of daily supervision duties
