About: County of Hawai’i is offering a permanent full-time position within the Department of Public Works – Building Division in Hilo, HI. The position involves supervising, directing, and administering building operations, design and engineering, maintenance, parking control, and general services. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to work on building projects and oversee maintenance of County facilities.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree in architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering; five years of experience managing engineering and construction projects, with three years in a supervisory capacity; possession of a valid Certificate of Registration in the United States as a professional architect, civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineer; possession of a valid State of Hawai’i driver’s license (Class 3) or equivalent
