Position: Facilities Manager – MEP
About: Yale University is seeking a Licensed Trades Facilities Manager to oversee MEP systems repair and maintenance at the university. This position involves directing a team of licensed trades in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, planning preventive maintenance programs, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for service delivery. The role requires availability for emergency response and on-call coverage, as well as interaction with various contacts to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of trades related experience; demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades; proven ability to manage staff and coordinate maintenance tasks effectively; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
