Position: Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations
About: Google’s Facilities Management team oversees the daily operations of Google’s offices, creating collaborative, friendly, and fun work environments. The team ensures that office spaces run smoothly and efficiently, focusing on customer service excellence and satisfaction. They contribute to maintaining office spaces that support Google’s innovative work culture and cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced and creative environment.
Requirements: Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; 7 years of experience in facilities management including facility, technical, and team management. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; Experience in collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards; Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment; Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
