Position: Facilities Manager, Administration
About: Community Partners in Action (CPA), founded nearly 150 years ago, is a pioneer in championing criminal justice reform and advocating for the dignity of individuals in and out of prison. They offer various programs such as reentry and housing, youth initiatives, a nationally recognized Prison Arts Program, and alternatives to incarceration, positively impacting individuals and society. With partnerships from individuals, government, private funders, organizations, and businesses, CPA serves around 7,000 individuals annually in Connecticut.
Requirements: Five years of progressive experience managing facilities maintenance operations; self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with multitasking abilities; knowledge of federal, state, and local building, fire, and safety codes; expertise in maintenance trades like carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC; experience in systems management maintenance and monitoring preferred; strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage and supervise others; valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
