Position: Facilities Manager
About: Ducommun, a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, is seeking a Manager – Facilities/Maintenance for its facility in Gardena, CA. The company specializes in electronic and structural systems, producing products for commercial aircraft platforms, military and space programs, and industrial applications.
Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; one to three years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training; working knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural Drawings; familiarity with NEC, UBC, and UPC; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; strong mathematical skills and ability to apply algebra, geometry, and practical problem-solving techniques; compliance with safety policies; teamwork mentality with a focus on continuous improvement; basic computer skills; critical thinking and good decision-making skills.
