Position: Facilities Manager

About: As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of residential properties. You will manage various functions to ensure optimal performance and compliance across all sites, conducting technical and mechanical work to uphold excellence in property management. Requirements: 5+ years of progressive responsibility in facilities management with 5+ years of multifamily experience or comparable in regional management required; prior experience in and knowledge of affordable housing and applicable knowledge of HUD-REAC inspections is required; strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs; strong leadership presence and proven track record in employee development; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs; high school diploma or equivalent; certification (i.e. CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, CPO, etc.) in a related trade preferred; dedicated to exceeding expectations, leading by example, and providing exceptional service; willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve; strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration; reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times; personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the company’s standards; demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, engaging in learning and development, fostering collaboration, a resident-centered environment, showing empathy and respect, and ensuring cross-functional success in all interactions; must successfully pass a background check.
