Position: Executive Steward
About: The Biltmore Hotel, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking an Executive Steward to oversee and maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and banquet service equipment. The role involves ensuring compliance with kitchen safety and food sanitation standards while managing the stewarding staff and equipment par levels effectively. The Executive Steward will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to uphold high standards of service and cleanliness within the hotel’s kitchens.
Requirements: Education: An associate’s degree is required; Experience: Minimum three years’ experience as an assistant chief steward in hotels with similar standards, fine dining experience, and strong knowledge of chemicals and dish machines; Skills: Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety; Licenses or Certifications: Food Handling Certificate required
