Position: Executive Steward

About: Tappan Hill, located in an undisclosed area, is seeking an Executive Steward to oversee all back of the house operations, excluding food production, kitchen equipment maintenance, and cleaning supplies management. The Executive Steward will work closely with the Director of Operations and Executive Chef to promote the company’s mission, culture, and philosophy.

Requirements: 3-4 years of experience managing a Stewarding Department or equivalent in a similar business; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; technical knowledge to operate, repair, and maintain BOH equipment; strong attention to detail in maintaining quality standards; effective problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and Word; bilingual in English and Spanish for staff communication; flexible schedule availability; New York State Food Handlers Certification or related food safety training knowledge preferred
