Position: Executive Chef job
About: Aramark Healthcare is seeking candidates for an Executive Chef position at BROWNHealth (Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital) in Providence, RI. This is a management position, responsible for developing and executing culinary solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Oversees and manages culinary operations to meet production, presentation, and service standards. Supports the production for the Retail and Catering Operations at the hospitals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Culinary Arts degree desired; Minimum of 5 years of culinary management experience; Strong leadership skills and advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession; Experience supporting high volume retail cafes within a healthcare, collegiate hospitality, or corporate dining setting preferred; SERV Safe certification and/or HACCP knowledge required; Experience managing a union workforce is a plus; All individuals working on-site must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Flu before the start date.
