Position: EVS Technician (Housekeeper) Part-Time 8-Hour Evening Shift
About: This position is for an EVS Tech (Environmental Service Tech – Housekeeper) for a part-time 8-hour evening shift role. The tech will work under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor and will be responsible for daily cleaning of patient care and non-patient care areas in the hospital, including high/low dusting, restroom cleaning, terminal cleaning of isolation and non-isolation rooms, disinfecting beds, assisting nursing staff with various tasks, and following the 7-step cleaning procedures. The role requires active contribution to department operations and communication in line with the mission, vision, and values of the employer, Pipeline Health.
Requirements: Two (2) years of hospital EVS experience preferred; critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills; a capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, prioritize patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
