Position: Events Supervisor
About: The University of Utah is seeking an Events Supervisor to oversee all front of house operations before, during, and after events at Kingsbury Hall and occasionally UtahPresents events at other locations. The Events Supervisor will lead a team of Ushers, Ticket Scanners, Concessions, and Merch Sellers, ensuring a welcoming environment for patrons and efficient event operations. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 3 years of progressively more responsible events coordination experience. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years management experience in retail, customer service, food & beverage or event operations, experience in event venue supervision, and proficiency in Spanish language is a plus.
