Position: Events & Marketing Coordinator
About: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa is seeking an Events & Marketing Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and marketing of special events, as well as manage the organization’s public presence to enhance brand awareness and support the mission. Responsibilities include content creation, social media management, and donor communication.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in communications, event management, marketing, public relations, or related field required; at least two years of experience in managing special events and/or marketing in a non-profit setting preferred; knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs preferred; strong writing and communication skills; proven expertise in non-profit event management; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; attention to detail and organizational skills; proficiency in design software programs like Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator; team player with a positive and professional attitude; valid Iowa State Driver’s License and clean driving record; ability to pass a background check
