Position: Events Manager (Catering)
About: The Events Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of all non-ticketed events. Leads an events service team in exceptional guest service and ensuring success for corporate, non-profit, and social events. Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors on all event details to create memorable events.
Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Events, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred; Minimum of 3 years event related planning, management, food & beverage, sales and production experience; CMP strongly preferred; Office system skills (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Event Industry Software knowledge (ArtsVision, Caterease and Placez a plus); Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; Creative problem-solving skills and high enthusiasm for the events industry; Outstanding interpersonal, client relations and guest service skills. Expertise serving sophisticated clientele; Strong work ethic with limited supervision; Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms
