Position: Events Manager
About: House of Ruth Maryland is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and services to those affected by intimate partner violence. They are currently seeking an Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various fundraising events and development activities, ensuring seamless coordination and successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive event planning experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the organization.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience; 5+ years of non-profit fundraising event experience; excellent computer skills, database experience preferred; ability to pass a criminal background check; reliable transportation; understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV) and its impact; experience in cross-departmental collaboration; flexibility to work nights and weekends; excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
