Position: Events Manager
About: South Carolina Event Production (SCEP), a subsidiary of The Post and Courier, is seeking an Events Manager to lead the development, planning, and execution of various events annually. The role involves overseeing a range of events from small gatherings to large-scale productions, serving both The Post and Courier initiatives and external clients utilizing SCEP’s event services, including events like Steeplechase of Charleston, Now Open, and Pints & Politics.
Requirements: BS/BA in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience; proven experience in event planning and management with a strong portfolio of successful events; exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; proficiency in event management software tools; ability to work independently and remotely if necessary, in a suitable workspace that meets safety guidelines.
