Position: Events Manager
About: The Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA) is seeking an Events Manager to be a key part of the events team, responsible for overseeing and facilitating logistics for various event offerings such as Conferences, Small-Group Meetings, Networking Activities, Private Dinners, Educational Classes, and Webinars. With the Association producing 17+ events annually across the country and in DC, this position requires a highly organized individual with leadership qualities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; 5+ years of experience in event planning for events of 200+ attendees; Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a customer-oriented demeanor; Proficiency in event registration platforms like Aventri; Strong organizational and multitasking skills; Excellent communication skills; Ability to travel and attend 6+ events per year
