Position: Events Manager
About: House of Ruth Maryland (HRM) is seeking an Events Manager responsible for the planning, execution, and management of fundraising events, including Spring event, Crabaret, Adopt a family, and Fill the House. The role involves coordinating stewardship events, staffing, and external fundraising events. The ideal candidate will work closely with board members, event chairs, and committee members, demonstrating extensive event planning experience and community connections.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience; 5+ years of non-profit fundraising event experience; ability to pass a criminal background check; reliable transportation; understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV); experience in cross-department collaboration; flexible work hours including nights and weekends; excellent organizational, planning, project management, and communication skills
