Position: Events Manager
About: House of Ruth Maryland, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of intimate partner violence, is seeking an Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various fundraising events and activities, while also assisting in development and sponsorship efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and volunteers within the organization.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience; 3 or more years of non-profit fundraising event experience; excellent computer skills with database experience preferred; ability to pass a criminal background check; reliable transportation; understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV); experience in cross-departmental collaboration; flexibility to work nights and weekends; excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
