Position: Events Manager

About: Marriott International is looking for an experienced Event Planner to join the team at W Hotels in Washington. Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of experience in event management or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management or related professional area. Experience in managing event logistics, excellent customer service skills, ability to lead event management teams, familiarity with sales and marketing functions, strong human resources management abilities.
