Position: Events Manager
About: A government organization in Chesterfield VA is seeking a permanent Events Manager to join their Parks and Recreation team to assist in the creation and promotion of community engagement special events for varying group sizes. The Events Manager will be responsible for managing organizational and operational activities, overseeing budgeting, logistics, timelines, and fostering positive relationships with community partners, sponsors, and residents.
Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field of study; 3+ years of event planning and management work experience for large scale events; Prior management or supervisory work experience; Experience planning community events
