Position: Events Manager
About: JewishColumbus is seeking an Events Manager to join their Marketing department. The Events Manager will be responsible for planning and executing various events, ensuring they align with JewishColumbus’ mission and enhance community engagement. This role involves working closely with internal teams, partner organizations, and external vendors to deliver impactful and well-organized events.
Requirements: Highly meticulous with 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably in the nonprofit, philanthropic sector, or corporate event planning; ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational skills; proven expertise in logistics management, vendor coordination, communication, project planning, and creative problem-solving; adept at managing budgets, vendor contracts, and negotiation; resourceful and innovative in event design, programming, and problem-solving; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in event management software, RSVP tracking systems, Microsoft Office/Google Suite; ability to work in a hybrid environment with evening and weekend availability for events; willingness to travel for venue site visits, partner meetings, and special programs
