Position: Events Manager
About: Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Event Management professional to join their team. This position involves coordinating with Sales, property departments, and customers to ensure exceptional service throughout all phases of property events, focusing on events of average complexity.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of experience in event management or a related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major; at least 1 year of experience in event management or a related professional area. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage event logistics, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in customer service.
