Position: Events Management, Associate – Corporate Affairs
About: Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, focuses on creating positive economic impact and long-term value for investors and communities. The Corporate Affairs department shapes communication strategies within and outside the organization, including Public Affairs, Marketing, and ESG initiatives.
Requirements: Experience: 4+ years in event planning and management within a fast-paced corporate environment; Independence & Initiative: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking initiative in assignments; Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with US venues and vendor landscapes; Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop professional relationships at various organizational levels; Team Building: Professional integrity, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work effectively in a team environment; Travel Commitment: Willingness to travel as needed for events; Negotiation Skills: Basic commercial and negotiation skills; Event Management: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; Communication: Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships; Adaptability: Ability to adjust style and approach as situations require
