Position: Events Director
About: Ascensus is seeking an Events Director to set corporate event strategy and lead a team of Event Managers for internal and external events. This role involves establishing best practices for event planning, execution, budgeting, and measurement of event ROI against business and brand goals. The Events Director will manage a team of FTE Event Managers and contractor resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in meeting and event management, marketing, hospitality, or related field required; minimum 8 years of event management experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience leading corporate event teams preferred; financial services industry experience preferred; strong organizational, planning, communication, and team management skills; ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional evening/weekends and travel up to 20%
