Position: Events Coordinator, Massey

Job Summary: The coordinator of events at Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center works under the Director of Events to support the events program, collaborate on program design, and lead the planning and execution of various events, including donor/fundraising events, retreats, symposiums/seminars, staff appreciation events, and smaller high-level events. The role involves visioning, budgeting, marketing, on-site coordination, post-event evaluation, and relationship management with contractors, vendors, and partners. Additionally, the coordinator provides virtual event support, including scheduling meetings and running webinars, and may require off-peak and overnight travel for out-of-town events.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in event planning preferred; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks; proficiency in virtual event support and technical troubleshooting
