About: The City of Long Beach is recruiting for two full-time, entry-level unclassified Events Coordinator I positions in the Special Events and Filming Office. The division is responsible for permitting all special events and film productions within the City of Long Beach.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, public relations, or related field; experience in event coordination or related field; excellent communication and negotiation skills; familiarity with local laws and regulations; ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders; strong organizational and time-management skills; attention to detail; proficiency in PDF formats
