Position: Events Coordinator
About: St James is seeking an energetic individual to organize and coordinate all aspects of events within the parish. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Pastor and Business Manager, manage event bookings, support families during significant life events, maintain event records, handle financial transactions, and promote the event space while building relationships within and outside the parish.
Requirements: AA/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Email Programs, Google Docs & Calendar, and MSP; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; flexibility, creativity, and the capacity to handle diverse tasks; professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality; physical capability to set up and take down event spaces, work evenings and weekends, and adapt to varying schedules; willingness to undergo a background check, adhere to the Code of Conduct policy, and complete necessary trainings prior to employment.
