Position: Events Coordinator

About: The Development Office is looking for a highly organized and creative Events Coordinator to support the planning, design, and execution of various events. This role involves managing web content, invitations, design elements, and logistical details to ensure seamless event delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; a minimum of 1 year of related experience is required; knowledge of design, event management, social media, marketing, or development is essential; direct experience in special events for a non-profit organization in the healthcare industry preferred; proficiency in WordPress web content management system, Sprout Social social media management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; excellent copywriting skills required; proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite a plus; exceptional project management skills required; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong team player and adaptable; ability to work independently; good interpersonal skills; attention to detail is a must; excellent time management skills required; demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion within aggressive timelines; flexibility and capability of handling urgent matters in an effective manner; must have a professional demeanor and use excellent judgment in working with executive-level faculty/staff/donors/board members/committees/volunteers/vendors; working knowledge of Blackbaud products, Raiser’s Edge, and Online Express preferred.
