About: Michaels, a creative destination for over 50 years, is seeking an Event Coordinator/Customer Experience Associate for their Store located in PITT-FRAZER/PITTSBURGH MILLS, PA. The role involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating various events, including kids’ birthday parties, to provide a stress-free and engaging experience for guests in a fun and creative environment. The position also entails delivering friendly customer service, ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience, and maintaining store standards to uphold the company’s Brand Promises.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in event planning and coordination, preferably with children’s events; excellent customer service and communication skills; organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving abilities; retail or customer service experience; ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, lift heavy boxes, and work varied hours including nights and weekends
