Position: Events Coordinator
About: Oral Roberts University is a Christian University located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, committed to developing whole leaders for the whole world through a unique Whole Person education. The Event Coordinator will be instrumental in the University’s enrollment growth by assisting the Events Manager in planning, executing, and following up on all events, with a focus on micro-events engaging prospective students, families, and guests visiting the University’s Welcome Center and current students. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that events reflect the values and mission of ORU with excellence in hospitality and hosting.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, or related discipline preferred); ORU graduate preferred; 1 year of experience in event coordination, preferably within a higher education or non-profit environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; flexibility to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require; proficiency with event management software, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite; commitment to and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the University as a Christ-centered institution; maintains compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy and its procedures
