Position: Events Coordinator
About: Kentucky Derby Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at the historic Churchill Downs Racetrack, is a premier attraction in Louisville, celebrating the tradition and pride of the Kentucky Derby. With over 258,000 annual visitors, including guests from across the country and the world, the museum offers a unique experience showcasing the essence of the renowned event.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; experience working in customer service; prior experience working with events preferred, but not required; excellent verbal and written communications skills; excellent time management skills; ability to focus with attention to detail; able to work efficiently and independently; strong organizational and project management skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office; pass a criminal background check; valid driver’s license; ability to make decisions with minimum supervision; willingness to work evenings and weekends
