Position: Events Coordinator
About: St. James is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Event Coordinator, working closely with the Pastor and Business Manager to oversee and manage all event-related activities within the parish. The Coordinator will be involved in scheduling, coordinating with clients, and providing support during significant life events. Additionally, they will handle administrative tasks, promote the event space, and foster relationships within and outside the parish community.
Requirements: AA/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related experience; Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Email Programs, Google Docs & Calendar, MSP; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Versatility, creativity, and willingness to work hard; Professional appearance and demeanor; Physical ability to handle setups and take downs; Availability to work evenings, weekends, and an unpredictable schedule
