Position: Events Coordinator
About: Yale University is seeking an Events Coordinator to provide support for the university’s fundraising efforts through the planning and execution of successful events that enhance relationships with prominent alumni, parents, and friends. This position reports to the Senior Associate Director, Events, and involves various event coordination and administrative tasks within the Office of Development’s Marketing & Communications unit.
Requirements: Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level and a high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or little of no work experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Demonstrated ability to provide support with event coordination; excellent interpersonal skills; commitment to an inclusive workplace; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; excellent communication skills; availability during events, occasional evening and weekend work.
