Position: Events Coordinator

About: The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel, located in downtown Lincoln and part of Milwaukee based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join their team. With nearly 90 years of serving Nebraska’s capital city, this historic landmark is known for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hospitality experience preferred; ability to effectively handle guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner; excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills; ability to sit, stand, and move throughout to perform essential job functions; thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of Marriott systems including CI/TY is preferred; high degree of accuracy and detail orientation; knowledge of food, beverage, Audio Visual, Room Sets, and Menu Planning is preferred; strong multiple-project management skills.
