Position: Events Coordinator

About: This position is for an Events Coordinator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Alumni Association. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing events such as conferences, receptions, banquets, and business meetings. They will handle setup and teardown of event spaces, operate and troubleshoot presentation technology, work with vendors and rental clients, provide excellent customer service, and staff events. The role requires availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays during scheduled events, and occasional Husker Football game days.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, hospitality management, or related field; equivalent education/experience considered. Excellent communications and customer service skills required. Ability to troubleshoot event challenges, proficiency in Microsoft applications, strong organizational and communication skills.
