Position: Events Coordinator

About: The Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB), a 501(c)(3) designated non-profit organization and Tribal organization, was formed in 1972 by the Northwest Tribes. Guided by a vision of ‘Health and Wellness for the Seventh Generation,’ NPAIHB serves the 43 federally recognized Tribes in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The organization is dedicated to eliminating health disparities and improving the quality of life of American Indians and Alaska Natives by supporting Northwest Tribes in delivering culturally appropriate health programs and services.

Requirements: Associate’s degree required; at least 2 years of experience in event planning and management; at least 1 year of experience working with Tribes, Tribal organizations, Tribal communities, or Tribal health clinics; proficiency in computer applications, strong research and analysis skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to travel frequently
